BOATING LICENCE
Do you want to get started in recreational boating in a simple and quick way?
With this qualification, you will be able to operate boats up to 6 meters in length,
with no power limit, navigating during the day up to 2 miles from the coast.
Duration: 2 hours of theory + 4 hours of practical training
Minimum age: 16 years
No exam required! You only need to complete the practical training.
BASIC SKIPPER LICENSE (PNB)
Ideal for those looking for a more complete first experience in navigation.
With this qualification, you will be able to operate boats up to 8 meters in length
and sail up to 5 nautical miles from the coast.
Requirements: theoric exam + motor and radio practical training
Duration: theoric classes + practical training: 8 hours of motor, 4 hours of radio,
and 16 hours of sailing (optional)
Minimum age: 16 years.
RECREATIONAL BOAT SKIPPER (PER)
Become a skipper and operate boats up to 15 meters in length,
with the possibility of sailing up to 12 nautical miles from the coast.
Requirements: theoric exam + mandatory practical training
Practical training: 16 hours of motor, 12 hours of radio, and 16 hours of sailing (optional)
Minimum age: 18 years.
BALEARIC ISLANDS AUTHORIZATION
Boats up to 24 meters in length (motor or motor and sail).
No engine power limit.
Navigation up to 12 nautical miles from the coast
Navigable distance between the mainland and the Balearic Islands
